Traumatic experiences can trigger anxiety, stress, sleeplessness, pain and distress. Sometimes Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can develop in people that have been through a traumatic event, – a serious accident, assault, war, or disaster. Symptoms can feel pervasive however they are very treatable, recovery is possible.

Complex trauma can be caused by childhood abuse in all its forms and growing up in a violent or dysfunctional family. Any form of violence can cause complex trauma – the stressors are usually interpersonal, repeated and prolonged and the impacts are cumulative.

We can discuss and explore many options, supports, techniques and symptom management tools that are available to support your healing and recovery.
