I work with people experiencing overwhelm, stress, burnout, grief, anxiety and relationship difficulties. I am also experienced in working with the impact of trauma. I bring a steady and calm energy to my work with clients.
Leading with compassion, I take a conversational person-centred approach, incorporating somatic techniques to stabilise and support. I have a particular interest in grief counselling and volunteer weekly for Griefline supporting callers with grief, loss, life transitions and loneliness.
I spent most of my life in Melbourne, where I worked in music, books and fashion before returning to study Psychology and working with a mental health research team at Melbourne University. After having my two sons we moved here to Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Early motherhood and an interstate move saw me embrace the support of yoga more than ever and I went on to complete my yoga teacher training and restorative yoga training. I have been teaching yoga locally since 2016, sharing the benefits of gentle, relaxing and restorative yoga.
I joined Tranquillo Place in 2021 and I really enjoying working from this warm and welcoming space alongside a supportive team of practitioners. I love supporting clients in calming their nervous system, processing what’s going on in their lives and exploring any changes they wish to make.
Outside of counselling & teaching yoga I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading both fiction and non-fiction books, eating great food, seeing live music and movies and spending time in nature.
